Jaydyn, Saydey, and Karston played Spring Soccer this year with Herriman Rec League. Let's just say they had really never played or knew what the rules of soccer were until their first practice and in Jaydyn's case her first game. We told her and showed her some stuff but we just kind of threw them right in to play! They LOVED it. Well the girls more than the little man. Jaydyn got a little emotional the first game and when they sat her out she had a melt down and didn't want to go back in to play. She just stood there and would run every now and then not trying to kick the ball. Before that first game got over we talked her into going back in to play. I was so proud that she didn't give up when she really wanted to. Ever since that she has loved soccer. She really got into it and got right in there to get that ball! Saydey loved it from the get go and is a feisty little player. She was always in the middle trying to kick that ball out! It was awesome. Karston on the other hand liked it and all, but got so bored with it. His games were and hour long also and to keep him that entertained for one whole hour was killer. He only played maybe 15 minutes of a couple games and was just bored. He is a three year old boy and that playground he was playing next to every time was calling his name! It was fun to watch them play and learn the basics to a new sport! The girls will be playing again!
